Summer Fun Part Two

The Zoo Trips
For Valentine's Day, my parents got the grand kids OKC Zoo family passes.  It is surprisingly an amazing zoo and way better than any others we have visited (including the disappointing San Diego Zoo).  They opened up the elephant habitat this year and celebrated the birth of a baby girl elephant, so we were excited to use the pass.  We went almost every time we visited OKC, and the kids had a blast! Here are pics of some of the many visits...

Checking out the Oklahoma habitat.  We thought Camden's favorite part would be the bears... but his favorite is the Nocturnal Room with the bats flying around. This is also the same room as the skunk and the rattlesnake. Yikes!

 Making friends with the goats

They love the birds, but get a little freaked out when the birds jump on them.

This is probably my favorite animal at the zoo.  He's hilarious and interacts with the kids every time we come.

 Camden loves the Rhinos

Cousins at the zoo!

 His face makes me smile

Right after this picture was taken, Camden's feet slipped, and he fell backwards.  I thought for sure he had broken something or cracked his head because it was quite a fall. Thankfully, he was fine.

A few minutes later, they climbed on this one in the Cat Forest.  He decided to just sit on the lower part this time around.

Caroline loves the 'kitty' habitat the best.

I was a happy Auntie when I got to hang out with my girls at the zoo!

I love that they have people sitting around educating kids on the animals!

Kiddie Park Fun
We had a lot of friends and family come up to the Bartlesville Kiddie Park.  The kids always had a blast, and at 25cents per ticket it was an affordable summer past time.  Here are a couple of pics of the Roush Family visit...

Caroline, Cam, and Lilly boating it up.

Chandra was pregnant and Rusty and I are not great with bumpy rides, so Aaron volunteered to ride with Cam, Caroline, Lilly AND Sophia! They loved it!

Random Summer Pictures
Pssssst...Jesse, I don't want to embarrass you... but your socks are two different colors

Camden singing his 'Good Things' song at VBS.

Throwing Pops fireworks down on the Fourth of July

Grandma Terre came up and went with us to the Caney Zoo at the end of summer

My friend Angela came up and took some pics of the kids around the time of Caroline's Birthday...
This was not staged.  Camden came up and gave her a flower.
It was absolutely precious.

Sweet Caroline

She wanted to play with Camden and Payten...
but she humored us for a little bit.

Doesn't he look like such a big boy now???

Summer Catch-up is accomplished!
